From humble beginnings as an idea shared between three triathletes, to having hosted over 30 professional events and multiple age-group triathlons, supertri has grown to become the world’s premier short course triathlon organization. Founded with the goal to “Inspire The Competitor In Everyone”, supertri (formerly Super League Triathlon) has been delivering fast, furious, and innovative professional swim, bike, run events since 2017. This year, supertri is bringing their first league event to the Boston Triathlon weekend.
supertri League is a global race series where elite athletes compete in teams on 1 mile stadium-like courses. Each event features back-to-back-to-back swim-bike-run rounds with athletes pushing themselves to their breaking point. Blending individual ambition and team strategy, every event offers points for the overall series and a prize purse for that race. As individuals compete for the podium, so do their teams, doubling the risk and reward of every stroke, watt, and stride.
In 2024, there are five events on the League calendar:
August 18: supertri Boston
August 25: supertri Chicago
September 8: supertri London
October 6: supertri Toulouse
November 3: supertri NEOM
Just after the 2024 Olympics, the stars of triathlon will kick-off their 2024 supertri season with a debut event in Boston. Not only is this the first event of the season, it’s the first supertri league event to ever take place in the USA. South Boston will play host to incredible participation races Saturday and Sunday morning and an elite professional race Sunday afternoon. Swim, bike, and run the Boston Tri then experience supertri Boston as the best triathletes in the world face off in thrilling competition!
